Abstract:
A casting roller surface cleaning device, used for cleaning the roller surface of a casting roller which is used for casting thin steel strips. The device comprises: a brush roller and a brush roller holder (25), the brush roller holder being provided with pressure sensors ( 23, 23'); a frame (20), the brush roller holder being slidably coupled to a brush roller holder guide rail (21) fixed on the frame, and a tensioning mechanism (37) and a linear actuator (29) being fixed on the frame; the tensioning mechanism; the linear actuator; a controller (12) which is configured to adjust, according to measurement values of the pressure sensors, a pushing stroke of the linear actuator against the brush roller holder so that a second pressure is substantially constant. And a casting roller surface cleaning method. In the described device, a gap between the brush roller holder and the frame is eliminated by means of the tensioning mechanism, and the pressure sensors and the linear actuator can be used to keep the pressure between the brush and the surface of the casting roller substantially constant during a cleaning process, thereby improving pressure control accuracy and thus improving cleaning effect.
