Abstract:
Provided is a novel carrier for introducing a protein such as a Cas protein into cells. A carrier for a protein according to the present invention is characterized by containing vesicles of the fruit of the Malpighiaceae plant, wherein an object to be held is a protein or a nucleic acid encoding the protein. The Malpighiaceae plant is, for example, the Malpighia sp. plant. A carrier for a protein according to the present invention can be used as, for example, a genome editing tool.
