Title:
CARRIER MATERIAL FOR LOCALLY RELEASING PARTICULATE SUBSTANCE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/085197
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a biocompatible carrier material capable of locally releasing a particulate substance. It is found that a carrier material comprising a non-gel polymer having multiple hydrophilic polymer units reversibly bound each other can locally release a particulate substance to an affected area such as ulcered surface, thereby increasing specificity of gene transfer and reducing off-target effects.
