Abstract:
Disclosed are a carrier allocation method and apparatus in an optical communication network, relating to the technical field of optical communication, and used for solving the problem that the link attenuation of an ONU does not match the frequency of a subcarrier occupied by the ONU. When link attenuation information of a network device falls within a link attenuation range corresponding to a subcarrier, a carrier allocation device allocates a subcarrier to the network device according to the link attenuation information, so that the frequency of the subcarrier matches the link attenuation of the network device, thereby avoiding the problem that a high-frequency subcarrier is allocated to a network device having a high attenuation link due to the fact that link attenuation is not taken into consideration in a carrier allocation process, so that a subcarrier can carry larger communication traffic per unit time, and the bandwidth utilization rate and the communication capability of the optical communication network are improved.
