Abstract:
Provided are a call assistance method, apparatus and system. The method comprises: a prepayment/call assistance service control entity receiving a call request of a calling subscriber for calling a called subscriber; the prepayment/call assistance service control entity sending a request for querying a subscriber balance of the calling subscriber to an on-line charging system according to the call request; if the subscriber balance of the calling subscriber is less than or equal to a pre-determined balance threshold, the prepayment/call assistance service control entity sending a borrowing prompt message for prompting the calling subscriber to apply for call charge borrowing to the calling subscriber, and receiving a borrowing response message sent by the calling subscriber; and if the borrowing response message represents that the calling subscriber chooses to borrow, the prepayment/call assistance service control entity processing a call between the calling subscriber and the called subscriber according to a normal prepayment process. The solution achieves the effect that a subscriber can get in touch with the called subscriber in the case of insufficient balance.
