Abstract:
A broccoli plant is disclosed that allows for production of small flower buds with uniform size and high yield, and is suitable for a processed broccoli product that is obtained by dividing the broccoli plant into small flower buds. This broccoli plant has genes involved in small flower bud production in the nuclear genome and allows for production of small flower buds with uniform size and high yield. The broccoli plant facilitates small flower bud processing and makes it possible to provide a broccoli product with high commercial value that is obtained by dividing the broccoli plant into small flower buds.
