Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a braking system and method for a brushless direct current motor. In the braking process of a brushless direct current motor, a bus voltage value is controlled by means of a braking control module to be always between a high bus voltage threshold and a low bus voltage threshold, and according to different bus voltage states, different pwm modulation signals are used so as to control the brushless direct current motor to perform slow braking till the brushless direct current motor is shut down. In view of the above, according to the present invention, the bus voltage value is ensured to be continuously maintained between the high bus voltage threshold and the low bus voltage threshold, an electronic component and a circuit are protected, and the service life of the electronic component and the service life of the circuit are prolonged; moreover, a hard braking method of direct turning-on of three lower tubes of a three-phase inverter in the prior art is avoided, and the braking hand feeling of the brushless direct current motor is remarkably improved.
