Title:
BIDIRECTIONAL OPTICAL SUB-ASSEMBLY AND OPTICAL MODULE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/051288
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A bidirectional optical sub-assembly (50) and an optical module. The bidirectional optical sub-assembly (50) comprises: an optical fiber, which is used for transmitting a first optical signal to a first membrane (53) in a cavity; the first membrane (53), which is used for reflecting the first optical signal to a first inclined face (f1) of a glass crystal (52); the glass crystal (52), which is used for transmitting the first optical signal to a second inclined face (f2); a second membrane (54), which is used for transmitting a second optical signal within a first wavelength range of the first optical signal to a first receiver optical sub-assembly (ROSA1), and is also used for reflecting a third optical signal within a second wavelength range of the first optical signal to the first inclined face (f1); a second receiver optical sub-assembly (ROSA2), which is used for receiving the third optical signal output by the first inclined face (f1); and a transmitter optical sub-assembly (TOSA), which is used for transmitting a fourth optical signal to the first membrane (53) in the cavity, wherein the first membrane (53) is also used for transmitting the fourth optical signal to the optical fiber. The bidirectional optical sub-assembly (50) can realize the reception of a plurality of optical signals of different wavelengths, and has a relatively simple structure and high reception accuracy.
