Abstract:
The present invention provides a benzoic ester compound having an enteropeptidase inhibitory activity and a use of the compound as a medicine for the treatment or prevention of obesity, diabetes, etc. The compound is represented by formula (I) (wherein the symbols are as defined in the description). The compound or a salt thereof has an enteropeptidase inhibitory activity and is useful as a medicine for the treatment or prevention of obesity, diabetes, etc.
