Abstract:
The present invention provides a bending structure the bending rigidity of which is partially changed in an axial direction by using a simple construction. The bending structure comprises an inner coil section 3 and an outer coil section 5, wherein: between adjacent winding parts 15a, 17a, 19a of the outer coil section 5, a corresponding winding part 7a, 9a of the inner coil section 3 is fitted such that the structure can bend and expand as a whole in accordance with bending rigidity; and the bending rigidity is partially changed in an axial direction by changing the bending amount of the inner coil section 3 and/or the outer coil section 5 in response to an axial load.
