Abstract:
Provided is a belt cover which is for an internal combustion engine and which efficiently discharges water from a drain hole and has excellent sealing properties. The belt cover has: a water pump 30 which is disposed on one side surface of a cylinder block CB and has a drain hole 35; an oil pump case OP covering the inner side of a timing belt TB; and a lower cover 9 covering the outside of the timing belt TB. The oil pump case OP and the lower cover 9 form a lower case 90 by being fixed via a seal member 40. A guide rib 91, which separates drainage from the drain hole 35 from the timing belt TB while guiding the drainage, and a discharge port 92, for discharging drainage from the lower case 90 at the bottom end of the lower case 90, are formed inside the lower case 90, and the drainage from the drain hole 35 is guided by the guide rib 91 and thereby guided to the discharge port 92.
