Disclosed are a bearing assembly (1) and a compressor. The bearing assembly comprises: a bearing seat (21), which is provided with a proximal end and a distal end in the axial direction and comprises a bearing hole (210) extending in the axial direction; a bearing (22), which is press-fitted in the bearing hole and is provided with a bearing proximal end and a bearing distal end; and a distal end stopping structure (23), which is provided at the distal end and is provided with a stopping surface opposite the bearing distal end surface in the axial direction so as to prevent the bearing from being removed from the bearing hole from the distal end. A predetermined distance is formed between the stopping surface and the bearing distal end surface, and the distal end stopping structure is configured to allow the bearing to move axially within a predetermined range under the action of an external force exceeding a predetermined threshold value. Further disclosed is a compressor comprising the bearing assembly. By means of the bearing assembly, it can be ensured that the bearing is reliably kept in the bearing seat, and adequate strength of the bearing is ensured without applying excessive axial retention forces to the bearing.
