Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a battery electrode according to one embodiment. The manufacturing method comprises: (i) a step for forming a precursor of an electrode that includes a double-sided coated region in which an electrode material layer is applied on both sides of a current collector and a single-sided coated region which is adjacent to said double-sided coated region and in which said electrode material layer is applied on one main surface of said current collector; and (ii) a step for pressurizing the precursor of the electrode. Prior to pressurization of the precursor of the electrode, the current collector located at the border between the double-sided coated region and the single-sided coated region is locally subjected to a heat treatment.
