Abstract:
The present invention provides a battery for a ship, the battery comprising: a battery unit which includes a battery module provided with a plurality of battery cells and which is disposed inside a ship; a first storage unit surrounding the battery module and disposed inside the ship; and a second storage unit which is installed between the first storage unit and the inner wall of the ship, wherein seawater is stored between the first storage unit and the second storage unit. According to a battery cooling apparatus for ships, according to the present invention, as the first storage unit surrounding the battery module and the second storage unit installed between the first storage unit and the inner wall of the ship are installed inside the ship, wherein seawater is stored between the first storage unit and the second storage unit, the battery module disposed inside the ship may be stably managed. Therefore, according to the battery cooling apparatus for ships, according to the present invention, the battery module is stably managed against seawater flowing into the ship, thereby ensuring adequate power for the ship and increasing the efficiency of the battery module.
