Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ballast water treatment system using a micro slash unit, the ballast water treatment system comprising: a ballast pump; a flow meter unit; a ballast water treatment unit for purifying ballast water; a sensor unit for measuring the residual oxide material concentration of the ballast water; and a control unit. The ballast water treatment unit has: a micro slash unit for slashing or killing microorganisms inside the ballast water by continuously applying mechanical rotation impact by means of multilevel blades; and a sterilization unit for chemically or electrically sterilizing the microorganisms. The control unit controls the number of revolutions of the blades of the micro slash unit and the sterilization strength of the sterilization unit in accordance with the flow rate value and the oxide material concentration value of the ballast water, thereby effectively removing animal ultra-microorganisms from the ballast water.
