Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ballast water treatment system for a stern peak tank that can be simplified in structure because there is no need to install separate ballast water treatment equipment in an engine room or a pump room, wherein the ballast water treatment system for a stern peak tank comprises: a ballast water treatment apparatus, installed in an engine room, for electrolyzing ballast water introduced into a vessel; a first pipe for transferring the ballast water stored in a stern peak tank to a pump room; a second pipe for transferring an oxidizing agent generated through the ballast water treatment apparatus to the first pipe; and a third pipe extending from the junction of the first pipe and the second pipe to a ballast tank and transferring the ballast water of the first pipe containing the oxidizing agent of the second pipe to the ballast tank.
