Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer, comprising as active ingredients a Bacillus velezensis JK1 strain deposited under the accession number KCTC 14627BP and a culture broth thereof. The pharmaceutical composition exhibits high anticancer activity when used to treat solid cancer cell lines, and particularly in a pancreatic cancer cell line, exhibits excellent anticancer activity due to having a strong cell death effect at a low concentration, and thus can be effectively used in the prevention or treatment of solid cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer.
