Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an automotive overhead console device that suitably contributes to: improving the visibility of a display unit; improving the usability as an accessory case; and reducing the number of component items. [Solution] An automotive overhead console device 1, which is disposed in a cabin ceiling T of an automobile, comprises: a frame body 2 that is mounted to the cabin ceiling; a lid body 3 that is disposed inside the frame body; and a shaft part 4 that supports the lid body in an openable and closable manner. A display unit 5 is disposed in the frame body or in the vicinity thereof. The shaft part is structured to be: located rearward of the display unit, when viewed from the lid body; and connected to the lid body via an arm part 6. The lid body is opened and closed by the rotation movement of the arm part and the lid body about the shaft part. When the lid body is in an open state, the display unit 5 is visually recognizable through a gap G that is generated in a range of linear distance L from the shaft part up to the lid body.
