Title:
AUTOMOBILE SPEED-LIMITING CONFIGURATION APPARATUS AND SPEED-LIMITING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/151266
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An automobile speed-limiting configuration apparatus, comprising: a switch, a coarse adjustment knob, a fine adjustment knob, a speaker, a display screen, a microcontroller and a data interface. The switch controlling the apparatus to turn on and turn off; the coarse adjustment knob being capable of coarse adjustment of a speed limit value; the fine adjustment knob being capable of fine adjustment of the speed limit value; the speaker being capable of emitting an alert sound and a voice announcement; the display screen displaying the speed limit value; the microcontroller determining a speed limit value according to adjustments of the coarse adjustment knob and the fine adjustment knob, and sending the speed limit value to a vehicle computer ECU via the data interface. The apparatus is mounted at a position in an automobile such as a control panel, such that the driver can operate it with one hand, a speed limit value may be configured rapidly, and it is not necessary to overly divide one's attention. The present apparatus uses a ceiling speed limiting mechanism, and the vehicle computer ECU controls a maximum speed of the automobile to not exceed the speed limit value by electronic or mechanical means, such that the driver does not need to worry about speeding or pay frequent attention to an indicated speed, greatly improving a driving experience.
