The present invention belongs to the technical field of film-applying machines. Disclosed is an automatic film-applying machine, comprising a workbench, wherein a base is fixedly connected to a top end of the workbench; one side face of the workbench is provided with an accommodating groove; a guide plate is slidably connected in the accommodating groove; one end of the guide plate is fixedly connected to a second connecting plate, and two ends of the second connecting plate are fixedly connected to first connecting plates; a transverse rack is fixedly connected to one side face of each first connecting plate; connecting cylinders are rotatably connected between the transverse racks; and a dust suction mechanism is arranged inside each connecting cylinder. In the present invention, by providing the connecting cylinders, spiral lines, linkage assemblies and the dust suction mechanisms, when a pressing plate moves downwards, the connecting cylinders can drive the dust suction mechanisms, rubber strips and rubber rings to roll over a backlight module; the dust suction mechanisms can suction away dust on a surface of the backlight module; and a spiral structure of the spiral lines and a cluster-shaped structure formed by the spiral lines can filter the dust, and the dust cannot escape from the spiral lines, such that a temporary dust-collection function is achieved.
