Abstract:
The present invention facilitates the alignment of a wall-mounted sprinkler head and a deflector when connecting the wall-mounted sprinkler head to a water supply pipe. A protective cap 200 is removably attachable to a wall-mounted sprinkler head 100 comprising a deflector 15, and has a tubular body that internally accommodates the wall-mounted sprinkler head 100, the tubular body having a tongue piece 53 as an engaging part and a second flat part 55 as a reference indicator for an attachment. The tongue piece 53 as an engaging part rotatably engages with a recess 18 in the wall-mounted sprinkler head 100, and the second flat part 55 as a reference indicator for an attachment is configured to indicate the state of the deflector arrangement.
