Abstract:
The present invention increases convenience of a user. Provides is an assist device 10 comprising a handle 15 which includes left and right gripped portions 15L, 15R positioned on left and right end portion sides, respectively, and an assist control unit 21 which controls an assist force according to external forces acting on the left and right gripped portions 15L, 15R when grip on the left and right gripped portions 15L, 15R is detected, wherein the handle 15 includes a center gripped portion 15C between the left and right gripped portions 15L, 15R, and the assist control unit 21 controls the assist force according to an external force acting on the center gipped portion 15C when the grip on the left and right gripped portions 15L, 15R is not detected and grip on the center gipped portion 15C is detected.
