Abstract:
The present invention provides artificial hair which has a large volume and which can create an airy impression compared with conventional artificial hair; and a method for producing the artificial hair. The present invention is configured to have a fiber unit having a plurality of fibers, wherein the plurality of fibers has a space inside thereof and extend such that the cross-sectional shape thereof surrounds the space, the bending rigidity of each of the fibers varies depending on the bending direction, with ease of bending determining directionality thereof, each of the fibers curves in the direction in which the fiber easily curves to form a curl, and the fiber unit includes at least three curls curving in directions different from one another.
