Abstract:
The present invention provides: artificial hair which is capable of achieving both better volume when braided and more favorable braid stops at the hair tips than the prior art; and a method for manufacturing the artificial hair. The present invention has a fiber bundle having large crimp parts with a minimum pitch of 1-7 mm, and the large crimp parts comprise small crimp parts near one peak section thereof, the small crimp parts having a smaller pitch than the pitch of the large crimp parts. With this configuration, it is easier for the small crimp parts to be entangled with each other, and it is possible to achieve both volume when braided and more favorable braid stops at the hair tips.
