Abstract:
Disclosed are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. An arc path formation unit, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises a plurality of magnet parts. The respective magnet parts are positioned on one side and the other side of the arc path formation unit so as to form a magnetic field inside an arc chamber. An arc generated inside the arc chamber receives electromagnetic force by the magnetic field and is extended in a direction away from the center of the arc chamber. Therefore, damage to each constitutional element positioned at the center can be prevented.
