Abstract:
This aqueous emulsion contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) as a dispersant and a polymer (B) that contains an ethylenically-unsaturated monomer unit and serves as a dispersoid, wherein the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) has an ethylene unit content of not less than 1 mol% and less than 20 mol% and the block character of the ethylene unit is 0.90-0.99. The aqueous emulsion contains the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) having a prescribed structure as a dispersant, and thus exhibits an excellent low-temperature storage stability and an excellent water-resistant adhesiveness.
