Title:
AQUEOUS COMPOSITION AND CURED PRODUCT THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/033145
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a novel aqueous composition and a cured product thereof, wherein the aqueous composition can be applied onto a substrate through coating, allows for a coating which is resistant to high temperatures and high frequency impacts and has surface strength of a film enough to withstand combustion pressure and fuel injection pressure, can form a cured coating film having low thermal conductivity with low specific heat, and yields a cured product that can form a film not only on an aluminum alloy substrate but also on a metal substrate, such as an iron-based substrate and a titanium-based substrate. The aqueous composition contains: a hollow powder material composed of a silicon dioxide-based compound and having a porous or monospherical hollow structure therein; a non-hollow metal oxide powder material; a metal oxide fiber material; an alkali metal silicate; and water. The alkali metal silicate includes at least sodium silicate and potassium silicate, and the hollow powder material has an average particle diameter in the range of 5 μm to 40 μm, a bulk specific gravity in the range of 0.14 to 0.95 g/cm3, and a compressive strength of at least 10 MPa.
