Abstract:
Provided is a container that, by having a liquid such as water introduced therein, changes the face thereof serving as a display part and that is visually confirmed easily and induces interest easily. The container according to the present invention comprises: a liquid container; a display cover that covers said container; a float that ascends to the surface according to the amount of liquid being held in the container; a display part that undergoes a change in appearance mode according to the level of ascent of the float; and a relay mechanism that transmits the ascending/descending motion of the float to the display part and that drives a change in the appearance mode of the display part. On the display cover, a portion of the display part is exposed or protruded on the surface side in order to enable visual confirmation of the display part and a change in mode from the surface side of the display cover when the float ascends, and a drive unit for the display part is disposed inside the display cover. Eye holes for exposing eye portions serving as a display part in the display cover are formed. The eye portions are pivotally supported within the display cover so as to be rotatable in the front-back direction, and are each formed in a spherical or semi-spherical shape that rotates as a result of ascent of the float.
