Abstract:
An apparatus for low-molecularizing a hydrocarbon-based material, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a supply unit for supplying liquid hydrocarbon; a plasma generation unit for generating plasma for supplying thermal energy to the hydrocarbon of the supply unit; a reaction unit disposed between the supply unit and the plasma generation unit and converting the liquid hydrocarbon; and a separation unit connected to the reaction unit and separating unreacted hydrocarbon and a gas product and liquid product of an aromatic compound which are entering thereinto after being generated by the conversion in the reaction unit.
