Abstract:
Provided in the present application are an apparatus for amplifying a signal, and an apparatus and method for receiving an optical signal, which can satisfy high-performance time-division receiving of 50G PON and GPON uplink signals, and meet the requirement of 50G PON and GPON terminal devices in a system for coexistence in the same PON port. The apparatus comprises: a signal receiving unit, a channel selection unit, a first amplification and data recovery channel, and a second amplification and data recovery channel, wherein the signal receiving unit is used for receiving a first signal and outputting the first signal to the channel selection unit, the first signal comprising a first-rate signal and a second-rate signal; the channel selection unit is used for making the signal receiving unit communicate with at least one of the two amplification and data recovery channels, and transmitting the first signal to at least one of the two amplification and data recovery channels; and the first amplification and data recovery channel and the second amplification and data recovery channel are respectively used for performing amplification and data recovery on the received first signal.
