Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an annular seal material that includes a center core and an outer layer that covers the surrounding of the center core. The outer layer has a thick film part and a non-thick film part in a circumferential cross-section. The present invention provides: an annular seal member that comprises a center core and an outer layer, and that inhibits any cracks in the outer layer and protrusion of the center core from the outer layer; and a method for manufacturing the annular seal member.
