Abstract:
An analog-to-digital converter integrated with reference voltage generation, and a calibration method. The analog-to-digital converter integrated with reference voltage generation comprises: a sample and hold circuit, a capacitive digital-to-analog converter and a quantizer, wherein the sample and hold circuit is used for performing sampling and holding on an analog input signal, so as to obtain a first signal; the capacitive digital-to-analog converter is used for generating a reference signal, and generating, according to a fed-back digital output signal, a second signal which has an equal proportion to the reference signal, and the difference between the first signal and the second signal is calculated to obtain an error signal; and the quantizer is used for digitizing the error signal, so as to obtain the digital output signal. The analog-to-digital converter contains a high-precision reference basis source therein, such that a reference signal is directly generated in a capacitive digital-to-analog converter of the analog-to-digital converter without the need for an additional reference-signal generation circuit and reference-signal driver, defects such as high power consumption, a large area and a lot of room for error of a traditional architecture are solved, and output calibration can be realized only by means of one-step calibration, thereby reducing the correction cost of a system, and achieving high levels of precision.
