Abstract:
Disclosed are an application of an amorphous alloy as a material for manufacturing pen balls, so as to avoid the constraints of the existing pen ball materials. The amorphous alloy is Fe-based, Zr-based, Ti-based, Cu-based, Ni-based, Co-based, or TiZr-based amorphous alloy, etc. The atomic structure of the amorphous alloy is in a disordered state and has no grain boundary, and the amorphous alloy has the characteristics of high hardness, high strength, high elasticity limit and excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The pen ball prepared using the amorphous alloy is more uniform in surface atomic structure state, and not only has better wettability with pen oil (ink), but also helps the pen oil (ink) spread more evenly on the surface thereof. The properties of amorphous alloys of different alloy systems are different, and different amorphous alloy components can be selected according to the requirements of different pens on material properties, such as hardness and spherical particle size, so that amorphous alloy balls with particle size meeting the requirements are obtained by adjustment and control, and then pen balls are made by grinding.
