Abstract:
The present invention provides an alloy which has excellent strength at high temperatures. In order to achieve the above, an alloy according to the present invention contains a total of 80% by atom or more of five first constituent elements, namely, V, Ti, Nb, Cr and Mo, and more than 2% by atom but not more than 10% by atom of carbon, while containing from 5% by atom to 40% by atom of V, from 5% by atom to 40% by atom of Ti, from 5% by atom to 40% by atom of Nb, from 5% by atom to 35% by atom of Cr and from 5% by atom to 30% by atom of Mo.
