Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a heat-resistant and wear-resistant coating, and a coated object coated with the coating as a tool such as a cutting tool or a die tool, etc. This coating is an AlCr oxidation-resistant and wear-resistant coating 10, characterized in that: the coating covers and protects at least a part or all of the surface of a substrate 2 and is constituted from aluminum and chromium oxynitride; in the composition formula AlaCrbMcOdNe of the coating, composition ratios a, b, c, d, and e are atomic ratios, the relationships 0.2 ≤ a ≤ 0.45, 0.025 ≤ b ≤ 0.2, 0 ≤ c ≤ 0.2, 0.15 ≤ d ≤ 0.5, 0.1 ≤ e ≤ 0.4, and a + b + c + d + e = 1 are satisfied, and M is one or more types of added elements from among Si, Hf, and B and the added element M may be added or not added; the coating is constituted from an oxynitride super multilayer coating 11 obtained by periodically or substantially periodically stacking at least two types of oxynitride unit layers 11a-11c having different combinations of the composition ratios a, b, c, d, and e; and the coating has oxidation resistance and wear resistance.
