Abstract:
An airbag and a front passenger airbag. The airbag comprises: an airbag body (10), at least having a front end (10a), a rear end (10b) opposite to the front end (10a), and two opposite side surfaces (10c) in an inflated and expanded state; a pair of lug portions (11) formed on the front end (10a), each lug portion (11) being formed by pulling one side of the front end (10a) to one side surface (10c) by means of a pull tab (22) sewn into the airbag body (10); and a recess (12) formed on the front end (10a) and located between the pair of lug portions (11), in the direction from the rear end (10b) to the front end (10a), the pair of lug portions (11) protruding from the recess (12). The recess (12) can cushion and accommodate the head and neck of a passenger, and the lug portions (11) can cushion and support the head and neck of the passenger, and prevent the head and neck of the passenger from slipping from the edge of the airbag, so as to ensure safety; and the lug portions (11) are formed by pulling the front end (10a) of the airbag body (10) to the side surfaces (10c) by means of the pull tab (22) sewn into the airbag body (10), and extra fabrics or cuts are not required for forming the lug portions (11), such that the lug portions (11) have strong support strength.
