Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of air conditioning, and particularly relates to an air conditioner and a control method therefor. The air conditioner comprises an indoor coil, a compressor and an indoor fan, wherein the indoor coil is connected to the compressor. The control method for an air conditioner comprises: in response to the actual temperature of an indoor coil being not higher than a preset temperature, adjusting an operation wind speed of an indoor fan to be not higher than a low speed, then determining whether the actual temperature is increased, and if so, maintaining an operation frequency or increasing the frequency of the compressor. In the present invention, during refrigeration or dehumidification, when the temperature of the indoor coil is not higher than the preset temperature, the operation wind speed of the indoor fan is first reduced, and the temperature of the indoor coil can be increased, thereby achieving an anti-frosting effect; and the frequency of the compressor can then be selectively adjusted according to a temperature change situation of the indoor coil. By means of the present invention, a frosting or icing phenomenon of an indoor coil of an indoor heat exchanger can be effectively prevented, and the problem of a great change in an indoor temperature that is caused by directly adjusting the frequency of a compressor can be effectively alleviated, thereby reducing the influence on the user experience.
