Abstract:
An air bag (210) folding method, relating to the technical field of airbags. An air bag of an overhead airbag (200) is provided with an inflation portion (230) adapted to be connected to a gas generator and an extension portion (240) extending from the inflation portion. The air bag folding method comprises: spreading the air bag, so that the extension portion is flattened, the inflation portion is stacked on the back surface of the extension portion (240), and in an inflated and unfolded state, the back surface of the extension portion faces an object under protection; and making two ends of the flattened extension portion face away from the inflation portion and folded in opposite directions until the two ends of the extension portion are overlapped. According to the method, by improving the air bag folding method, the air bag of the overhead airbag is prevented from hitting the object under protection in the inflation and unfolding process, so that potential safety hazards are avoided, and stable and reliable anti-collision protection can be provided. Also disclosed are an air bag and an overhead airbag.
