Abstract:
This aerial display device includes: a display element (20) that displays an image; an optical element (40) that is disposed so as to receive light from the display element (20), the optical element (40) reflecting light from the display element (20) away from the display element (20) to form an aerial image in the air; and a sensing element (50) that forms a detection region in a spatial region overlapping the aerial image and detects an object in the detection region. The spacing between adjacent aerial images is set on the basis of the amount of movement of an observer from the center of the aerial images.
