Background of the invention

Jewelry products are highly popular among female customers In all ages and races, for both Thais and foreigners. As Thailand is one of the countries which is famous for its exquisite craftmanship skills and expertise in creating adornment workpieces. Although jewelry products are categorized as luxury goods, the market demands for this type of product remain relatively high and the market price for jewelry or adornment can start from affordable price to steep price. Thus, the jewelry industry continues to grow domestically and internationally, the number of jewelry merchants follows to grow accordingly. This prompts the jewelry merchants to try to differentiate their brands or stores apart from others either by creating a story behind each jewelry design, creating new design of adornments, using new materials, or inventing new mechanism for adornment pieces.

The important point which causes the product to be different and difficult to replicate is the special mechanism of the adornment itself as there are various forms, techniques, materials to show difference and signature of the brand, and the unity of the process or the mechanism thereof. Therefore, the mechanism or the technique is important to provide novelty, specialty, beauty, unity, and increase in brand value. The conventional mechanism, such as, changing ring setting, separating, and assembling ring, fitting a photograph or a clock into a locket, and locking necklace or pendant according to the prior patent applications as follows:

Korean Patent Publication No. KR2020110007001U discloses the jewelry decorative adornment mounting apparatus which can be transformable for various kind of adornments, such as, closing the removed cover after the mounting apparatus is pressed or separating the assembly from the decorative portion.

Thai Petty Patent Application No. 1203001284 discloses an adornment with a locking mechanism which is divided into two portions: a head portion which is in a cylindrical shape and comprises small pivots in the opposite position; and a base portion which is in a cylindrical shape with J-shaped grooves on both edges to support the pivot of the head portion when assembling, wherein there is a rubber installed at the deep cylindrical hollow on the center of the base portion, characterized in that the rubber is elastic when pressing the head portion on it causing the rubber to collapse in order to allow both pivots to pass through the J-shaped grooves and the rubber restores when releasing the head portion, wherein the pivots are pushed upward to provide firm locking and easy releasing mechanism.

Thai Patent Application No. 1301000278 discloses an apparatus for attaching and detaching jewelry from the surface of product which has a connection portion between a fastening system and an embedding or embracing system for jewelry applied to the adornment products, comprising: a lower portion for a standard fastening mechanism to attach and detach from the surface of the product to be more secured and durable to the attachment and detachment from the surface of product with difference in thickness, elasticity, and rigidity.

Hong Kong Patent Publication No. HK1194932A discloses the components of adornment, comprising: a connection portion for connecting two shells together by external peripheral and snap lock to make both shells to connect to each other tightly.

International Patent Publication No. WO2016034182A1 discloses the components of bracelet and/or necklace, comprising: a cavity at the inner surface of the necklace housing and a ring made of a flexible friction resistance material, wherein a ring comprises at least an inner surface for supporting the friction from gripping longitudinal surface to adjust the components at the selected position.

As mentioned above, there are prior art related to the mounting mechanism of each portion for different adornments. However, there is shortcoming of the mounting mechanism of the decorative elements in some forms which require specificity to support the adornment. Therefore, the inventor has invented this adornment with sliding control mechanism in order to solve the problem of sliding of the hanging accessories or decorative elements by providing strength, elasticity, and beauty as an option for decorating the adornment.

Summary of the invention

The adornment with sliding control mechanism has been developed to control the sliding of the the hanging accessories or decorative elements because it often slips out of the predetermined position of the adornment, comprising: a holder frame, a bail and a loop, wherein the bail could be inserted into the holder frame, allowing the bail to be fixed in a position as desired.

The objective of the present invention is to provide a decorating method and a new form of adornment by the aforementioned locking mechanism which helps solve the problem of the hanging accessories or decorative elements slipping out of the predetermined position and allowing replacement of the decorative component as desired without causing damages to the adornment. Furthermore, it is applicable to other products.

Detailed description of the invention

According to FIG. 1, it illustrates an example of the adornment with sliding control mechanism which an adornment having a hanging accessories or decorative elements sliding control mechanism, allowing the said adornment to be able to lock the hanging accessories or the decorative elements at the predetermined position by the sliding control mechanism effectively, comprising as follows: the holder frame 1 configured to have a groove with even or uneven width throughout its length and provided with edges configured in the form of rail or tube comprising two ends which both ends are curved and bent inward in order to support the loop (3) to be inserted into the groove making the said bail (1) fit firmly to the holder frame (1). providing the holder frame 1 by connecting each of a plurality of parts integrally, wherein the holder frame 1 should be made from a rigid and firm materials with appropriate weight, wherein the materials could be at least one selected from metal, alloy, or non-metal materials, or a combination thereof; the bail 2 provided one end to support the hanging accessories or decorative elements which is configured as a round loop or a hook to lock or be hung by the hanging accessories or decorative elements, and the other end configured as a straight core and a two-layered base to mount on the holder frame securely and firmly.

Wherein the two-layered base of the bail 2 further comprises a groove between two layers of the base to support the loop 3 which is an elastic loop to be inserted into the base firmly; when the said loop 3 is inserted into the holder frame 1, the bail 2 could slide within the holder frame 1 ; moreover, installing the loop 3 helps increase the tightness within the holder frame 1 and also reduce scratches or damages while sliding the bail 2 within the holder frame 1 and helps increase the life span for the holder frame 1.
