Abstract:

[Problem] To provide an adhesive tape which can reduce a hammering noise or a rubbing noise, can prevent an object covered with the adhesive tape from staining caused by the contamination by dust or dirt or the intrusion of water or an oil, has durability against puncture or abrasion, and can be bent easily after objects are tied to each other with the adhesive tape. [Solution] An adhesive tape which is provided with a base material comprising 100 parts by mass of polyvinyl alcohol, an elastomer in an amount of 10 to 100 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyvinyl alcohol, and a plasticizer in an amount of 10 to 100 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyvinyl alcohol, wherein the elastomer contains an acrylonitrile monomer unit and at least one monomer unit selected from the group consisting of a chloroprene monomer unit, a butadiene monomer unit and an isoprene monomer unit, and the damping value in a sound adsorption test on the adhesive tape is 2 dB or more.
