Abstract:
An absorber for an absorbent article, which includes a hardwood-pulp-fiber-containing absorber containing a super-absorbent polymer and pulp fibers including softwood pulp fibers and hardwood pulp fibers, wherein among the total pulp fibers of the hardwood-pulp-fiber-containing absorber, the proportion of pulp fibers having a fiber length of 0.5 mm to less than 1.1 mm is 40% or higher, and the proportion of pulp fibers having a fiber width of 10 µm to less than 35 µm is 90% or higher on a mass basis.
