Abstract:
The present invention avoids erroneous detection, and easily specifies a tire, in which an abnormality is likely to have occurred, from among a plurality of tires provided on a vehicle. This abnormality monitoring system 100 comprises: gas sensors 1A to 1D provided in inner cavities of tires provided on the vehicle or in the vicinity of the tires; a determination unit 12 which determines whether or not there is an abnormality in the tires, on the basis of the detection results from the gas sensors 1A to 1D; and an input/output unit 13 which outputs data based on the determination result of the determination unit 12. The gas sensors 1A to 1D detect volatile substances when abnormal heat generation occurs in the tires. Volatile substances are substances derived from the additives added when manufacturing the tires.
