Abstract:
To accurately and easily adjust a torque upper limit value of transmission torque in a spring type two-way torque limiter.SOLUTION: An outer ring member (output member) 1 in which an inner ring 2 (input member) is inserted is composed of an outer ring body portion 11 and an adjusting ring 12. A C-shaped spring (adjusting spring) 4 is provided, which fastens a coil spring 3 installed on an outer peripheral surface of the inner ring 2 with a fastening margin, from an outer peripheral side. An engaging claw 4b at one end in a circumferential direction of the C-shaped spring 4 is circumferentially engaged with an engaging projection strip 11e on an inner periphery of the outer ring body portion 11, and an engaging claw 4b at the other end in the circumferential direction is circumferentially engaged with an engaging end portion 12c of a C-shaped portion 12b of the adjusting ring 12. Thereby, only by relatively rotating the adjusting ring 12 with respect to the outer ring body portion 11, the fastening force of the C-shaped spring 4 with respect to the coil spring 3 is changed to adjust sliding resistance between the coil spring 3 and the inner ring 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
