PURPOSE: To view a required picture while switching freely it at a console in an own conference room by controlling remotely the selection of the picture at every conference mode transmitted from a sender respectively at the own room.
CONSTITUTION: In selecting freely a video image at each conference mode transmitted from a conference 2B by a participant of a conference 1A, a selection changeover signal at every mode is inputted to a control signal transmitter 8 from an operation panel by depressing any of plural buttons 1∼5 fitted on a remote control panel 7. This signal is transmitted to the conference room 2B through a control signal transmission line 11, and after the signal is received at a control signal transmitter 8', the signal is inputted to a swtiching control panel 9' of the conference room. The control panel 9' discriminates which selection signal is transmitted among the conference modes 1'∼5' and changes over the switch of the conference mode switching operating panel 4' so as to obtain said selected mode. Through the operation above, the video image selected remotely in the conference room 2B is displayed on a video display device 6 via a video signal transmitter 5' → video signal transmission line 10 → video signal transmitter 5.
