PURPOSE: To contrive to curtail a building space and the amount of air to be used for rust prevention, by dividually arranging cooling and rust-inhibiting yards in one chamber without providing a partition wall, and utilizing anticorrosive cooling air used in the cooling yard as anticorrosive air.
CONSTITUTION: Coils W are sequentially mounted in a down end state on a predetermined coil receiver stand 6 in a cooling yard 2. Hence, a valve body 10 is opened by the downward motion of the rod 11 of a controlling mechanism 8 to spray anticorrosive cooling air through many harmonica-shaped nozzles 7 of a blowing chamber 5. When the cooling is finished, the coils W are carried to a rust-inhibiting yard 3 by a crane 4. Suction is performed through a suction opening 12 provided over the whole of the wall surface of the rust-inhibiting chamber 3 by a blower 17, to use the anticorrosive cooling air in the cooling yard 2 as anticorrosive air in the rust-inhibiting yard 3. In addition, the sucked anticorrosive air is circulated through an air conditioner 14 comprising a dehumidifier 15 and a cooler 16 into the blowing chamber 5.
