Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a rim formed into a ring body for fitting lenses in order to configure a front part of a spectacle.SOLUTION: The ring body is formed by flexure formation using a rim wire with thickness (outer diameter) of 0.75 mm-0.85 mm, and both sides of the ring body are compressed and crashed to be fitted into a concave groove provided on an outer periphery of the lens, thereby forming a rim wire having substantially elliptic cross section with thickness dimension of 0.7 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
