Abstract:
To provide an oil seal protection cap which enables improvement of protection and workability of an oil seal.SOLUTION: An oil seal protection cap 100 includes: a lid part 110 which closes a drive shaft insertion port 310 of an oil seal 300; an outer periphery part 120 which is provided at the radial outer side of the lid part 110 and contacts with an edge part 320 at the upstream side as seen in an insertion direction of a drive shaft 400 in the oil seal 300; and a holding part 130 which is formed so as to extend from the outer periphery part 120 to the radial outer side. The lid part 110 and the outer periphery part 120 are provided with a cutout part which is cut out from a center O of the lid part 110 to the radial outer side. The holding part 130 has a step part 131 which is offset toward the upstream side as seen in the insertion direction of the drive shaft 400.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
