PURPOSE: To relieve the load of workers and operators for supervision by con triving the monitor of a numerically controlled machine tool so that a cause to an abnormality is recognized on the side of a monitor room by selecting a page screen of a monitor of a machine tool and various control of the machine tool is executed by an operation panel of the monitor room when an abnormality takes place in the machine tool.
CONSTITUTION: The monitor of a numerically controlled machine tool is provided with a video image selection section 16 selecting alternatively a picture signal outputted from a monitor of each numerically controlled machine tool and providing the selected signal to a monitor 11 of a monitor room 1, a command signal selection section 15 selecting a command signal outputted from the operation section alternatively with respect to any of the numerically controlled machine tool and providing the selected signal and a switching control section 17 applying switching control to the selection sections. Then the switching control section 17 selects the picture changeover selection section and the command signal selection section so as to correspond to the same numerically controlled machine tool.
