To provide a mask which prevents a covering part from moving upward when a user moves his or her mouth under the mask.

The mask 1 includes: the covering part 2 covering the nasal foramens and the oral region of a mask user; and strings 3 which extend from the covering part 2 and can stretched around either the head part, the neck part or the ear parts of the user. The covering part 2 has a vertical direction A aligned with the upper and lower sides of the face F, a width direction B perpendicularly crossing the vertical direction, an inner face D facing the face F, and an outer face E opposite to the inner face. The peripheral edge part 24 of the covering part 2 includes a lower edge part 24a which can be brought into contact with the jaw part G of the face F. On a part of the lower edge part 24a, a pad 6 for jaw is formed which extends below the jaw part G from the lower edge part 24a while the mask is worn and can be brought into contact with the jaw part G from the lower side.
